About Nate & Paula
Nate and Paula are currently pastoring H2O Church in Huntington Beach, CA. H2O meets in downtown Huntington Beach where their vision is to “fill His house” (Luke 14:23), with a mission to “Give ‘em Heaven” (Acts 5:42) locally and globally through a lifestyle of being the Church and body of Christ.
Nate grew up in South Carolina and moved to Southern California in 2013 to pursue surfing professionally. Since then, he has traveled around the world and competed as a professional surfer on the WSL, using the platform of the sport to share the gospel in the surf community.
In addition to pastoring, Nate has a passion to make disciples through teaching the word of God around the world. He has partnered with his father and fellow GTN missionary, Doug Dorman, on multiple trainings internationally. Nate has a Master of Arts in Theological Studies from Liberty University, and plans to graduate with a Master of Divinity in December 2019.
Paula grew up in Southern California, and speaks both Portuguese and Spanish. She played tennis at the University of California, San Diego, graduating with a major in environmental engineering and is currently working as a Mechanical Designer in Irvine, CA.
