About Scott & Sandra Bauer
Scott and Sandra joined GTN following retirement from careers in engineering and teaching, respectively. They have been avid supporters of GTN since its inception. They have been involved in cross-cultural ministry for as long as they can remember. Scott and Sandra have been married for 14 years and have 5 children and 6 granddaughters.
Sandra has a master’s degree in reading from Arizona State University and has been in teaching for 40 years. She has a passion for teaching youth both in the public-school system and the church. She is also involved in women’s ministries teaching Bible studies and individually discipling women.
Scott retired in 2017 and earned a master’s degree in ministry from Phoenix Seminary. Scott’s career was in civilian nuclear power following 9 years in the U. S. Navy.
Scott and Sandra were also members of New Life Community Church in Peoria when Paul Madson was pastor. Paul performed Scott and Sandra’s wedding in 2005. They are board members of PathWays to Global Understanding whose mission is to mobilize people to the nations.
