About Tom & Mary Lou
Tom came to Christ at age four in a Sunday school class at the First Baptist Church of Van Nuys, California. He holds a degree in Music Education from UCLA, did a Masters of Church Music program at USC, and then earned a Master of Divinity from Western Seminary in Portland, Oregon. He served as Music Pastor for 25 years in large and small churches working with musical ensembles of every age, every ability level, vocally and instrumentally, for the glory of God. He has pastored Wings of Faith church for the past 17 years and now is Senior Staff with Global Training Network.
He and Mary Lou have been married for 33 years and have four children and one grandson. Their family has led worship vocally and instrumentally together for many years. Mary Lou is known for her loving and joyful spirit.
Outside of church ministry, Tom has taught music privately with students in voice, french horn, piano, and guitar. He taught Music Theory for the University of Laverne for seven years at Fuller Seminary, writing his own curriculum. As a high school volleyball coach, he helped build a championship program at a local public high school. He consulted for an AV design and installation company assisting churches and schools.
Tom now seeks to use what God has done in his life to mentor pastors and church leaders to bring the brilliant gospel of Christ to the world.
