Percy's goal is to raise, train and equip a mission-minded generation to reach those who do not know Jesus in the Western Province of Zambia and beyond. He travels to the districts of Zambia's Western Province to train pastors and leaders to become more effective evangelists and church planters. Percy believes that healthy leaders plant healthy churches.
Percy measures his success through national pastors and leaders whose lives have been transformed. He has established a network of about one hundred colleagues throughout seven of the thirteen districts of the Western Province of Zambia, as well as in Namibia and Angola.
Percy is a gifted worship leader and loves to teach a sound understanding of biblical worship, teaching churches how to use worship to facilitate mission. As Percy puts it, "Zambia is a singing culture, but much of our singing is rooted in ancestral worship. We sang to our ancestors simply to dull our pain. Biblical worship is truly healing and is rooted in a lifestyle of sacrifice and obedience to our Lord."
Following his conversion in 2000, Percy served as a volunteer evangelist, youth leader, and worship leader in churches in Zambia and Namibia from 2000-2007. He trained in Botswana to be a missionary & church planter in 2007, and then served as Youth Pastor at Jerusalem Church (United Church of Zambia) in Mwandi, Zambia for five years, overseeing eleven congregations and helping to plant two new churches. He founded the Inyambo Mission Center in 2010. Percy received a Bachelor of Theology with Education degree from Justo Mwale Theological University in Lusaka, Zambia in 2016 and was ordained in 2017.
