About Chuckk & Andrea
Chuckk and Andrea Gerwig have been in love with one another and Jesus for well over 40 years. Chuckk was the senior pastor and founding church planter of Elevation, a mission-focused church in Santa Cruz, California, for 13 years. He has served effectively in various pastoral roles in several churches and parachurch organizations for over 35 years. Chuckk has a long history and a deep love for equipping, discipling, and releasing pastors into the wild.
His mission heart has led him to serve and lead international mission trips in Russia, South Sudan, Hungary, Belize, Denmark, Turkey, Ethiopia, Mexico, Poland, South Africa, Czech Republic, Rwanda, and Lithuania. The list keeps growing as Jesus provides opportunities to meet global needs. He conducts online training in Nepal, Malawi, Myanmar, Rwanda, and Uganda. GTN is a perfect fit for Chuckk's gifts, passions, and experience.
In the past, Chuckk played lead guitar in many Southern California rock bands, including some Christian artists like Randy Stonehill, Brian Duncan, and David Edwards. Chuckk loves Jesus King of All, the Scriptures, Labrador Retrievers, fine electric guitars, and thundering Harley Davidsons. He is a cross-country motorcycle adventurer and lover of people everywhere he journeys.
Chuckk has been the faithful and devoted husband to the beautiful Andrea Gerwig for 41 years. They are the parents of two daughters, Jessi & Carly, and one son-in-law, Matt. Chuckk is also the master of "Bond," a heathen Labrador. Chuckk’s current favorite role is that of "Pop" to his identical twin grandsons, Ezra and Noah.
