About Bill & Cindi
Bill Wright was born in San Diego, California but grew up most of his life in Tucson, Arizona. Cindi was born in Nebraska and spent most of her life in Denver, Colorado. Bill had the joy of pastoring for nearly thirty years before he and Cindi and their two adopted boys, Gabe and James, moved to Western Nebraska. Their pastoral ministry was primarily in Arizona. Bill has had the privilege of ministering in several countries, training national church leaders, while he pastored in the US. He has traveled to Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Eastern Europe, India and Sri Lanka.
Bill attended Biola College, as well as Talbot Theological Seminary and Western Conservative Baptist Seminary. He has a deep love for the study and teaching of the Word of God with the goal of making it all about Jesus Christ. Seeing people come to faith in Christ and helping them grow in their Christian walk continues to be the passion of Bill and Cindi’s heart. Declaring the message of the release of the indwelling Christ in the life of every believer as the “Normal Christian Life” is a major focus every time Bill is given the privilege of sharing God’s Word.
For several years Bill and Cindi cared for foster children in their home. They have ministered to more than 50 foster children over the years. James and Gabe were two of those children God led them to adopt. Along with James (nine years old) and Gabe (10 years old), Bill and Cindi have 6 grown children who have blessed them with 15 grandchildren.
It is by the grace of God that they continue to share the truth of the Word of God with others in this country, as well as across the world. Several overseas trips each year are made for the sole purpose of training national church leaders. Bill writes most of the training material he teaches. When not traveling abroad, he is busy ministering in two or three Home Groups weekly, teaching adults on Sunday mornings and children in Awana on Wednesday nights along with an ongoing mentoring and counseling ministry.
Bill’s life verse is Proverbs 3:5-7
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not unto your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Be not wise in your own eyes, fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. It will be healing to your flesh and refreshing to your bones.”
